Wishing you all a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
What a year 2020 has been!
With the COVID-19 outbreak we, along with the whole world, have been forced to work in a totally new way that we could never have anticipated. We’ve embraced the new challenges that have come with 100% remote working from our team in multiple locations.
Like most people, we’ve been through the motions in the first lockdown. Staying at home came with its own challenges. Not to worry, we had the Tiger King to keep us entertained, baked homemade banana bread which we tried to burn off by joining Joe Wicks in his morning ‘PE with Joe’ sessions. We’ve stayed at home with our kids running riot while they weren’t able to go to school and nurseries.
In these unprecedented times, we fully understood the huge effect that COVID-19 would have on people’s lives both at home and in the business world.
Naturally, there was a lot of uncertainty and fear around the situation. So, it was important for Attollo to reassure stakeholders that we were proactively supporting and firmly standing by our wonderful Attollo Intranet community of employees, customers and partners.
Our Values
We are a people-first company, and nothing is more important to us than the mental and physical health of the people we work with. Although we temporarily closed our offices, our staff were working at home, embracing video conferencing, and we remained 100% operational continuing to serve our community.
We also introduced weekly face-to-face catch-up, Virtual reality (VR) meetups and weekly team quiz evening (via Microsoft Teams) to help keep employees mental health well.
We helped several clients with rapid deployments of Attollo Intranet, specifically introduced to help new clients during COVID-19. This allowed clients to continue supporting their community and provide vital internal communications to widely dispersed teams.
Attollo Intranet launched a 9-week video blog series called ‘The Isolation Conversation’ designed to bring together leading experts and key influences from around the world to discuss how their businesses are using technology to maintain business continuity, how they are tackling isolation and remote working, general working practices and what apps or tools businesses use to cope with the effects of isolation. Our team aimed to bring light to industries such as the education and charity sector, that has been significantly impacted.
We have also leveraged our inhouse creative design skills to offer charities free design and marketing service to help with their corporate sponsorship deals and assist fundraising efforts ready for the post-COVID-19 normality. We have worked closely with the Little Rascals Foundation to create corporate brochures and other marketing materials which they are extremely appreciative of.
So that’s 2020, the year that didn’t quite go as planned.
And just like that, it’s nearly 2021. So, what have we got in store?
Well, we’re keen to hit the ground running and have been furiously planning what the next 12 months look like. We’re onboarding new clients, releasing a product roadmap. Also, we even have some exciting news that we have to wait until April 2021 until we can’t reveal it! We’ve all desperate to tell you but have to keep our mouths tightly shut until then. We’re sure it will come around in no time and you’ll love it!
I guess the only thing left for us to do is wish you a Merry Christmas! We hope that you have a safe one spent with your families, where it is safe to do so. We can’t thank you enough for the support you have shown us this year. Have a great New Year and we’ll see you in 2021.
